The house is located in a densely populated residential area, on a trapezoidal plot of land—fortunately with a slightly wider street frontage. Nearby stands a traditional village communal house.
When the client approached us with the design request, we decided to take advantage of the land’s unique shape by wrapping the house in a curved outer shell. This design not only minimizes the visual impact of the house on the communal structure but also provides greater privacy for daily living inside. At the same time, it acts as a thermal buffer, reducing direct heat radiation.
The result is a distinct architectural form that stands out as a landmark within the neighborhood.
